Boats are expensive to buy, drive and maintain, but Boatsetter was determined to bring this one of a kind experience of being on the water to more people. They created a platform that allowed people to rent out their boats to other individuals without having to worry about the complications that arise from that scenario.
Boatsetter developed this system in a web app and came to MetaLab when they realized that they were missing out on a key market of smartphone users who would prefer an app experience over a website.
We partnered with Boatsetter to simplify their complex boat rental framework while working within their current infrastructure. In the end we delivered a fresh take on their brand while also increasing conversions by optimizing the steps within their boat rental experience.
